Day 1: Home City - Varadero
Travelers gather at Toronto International Airport to depart. Upon arrival in Cuba, take the hotel shuttle to relax at the hotel.
Day 2: Varadero Island Tour (Mandatory)
After breakfast, we’ll explore the Varadero Peninsula in classic Cuban vintage cars, enjoying stunning ocean views. You can exchange currency at the shopping mall and pick up unique handicrafts at the local flea market. For lunch, we recommend the popular restaurant’s charcoal-grilled lobster (at your own expense). Then, enjoy the sea breeze as we return to the hotel in an open-top vintage car. After dinner, experience tropical vibes with a Cuban music and dance show at the hotel.
Day 3: Havana Classic Day Tour (Optional)
Delve into Cuba’s modern history with a tour of Havana’s iconic attractions, immersing yourself in its rich cultural atmosphere.
Day 4: Private Yacht Caribbean Cruise + Lobster Catching (Optional)
Embark on a unique yacht cruise in the Caribbean Sea, enjoying complimentary drinks and beer onboard. The captain will stop at an ideal location, where the crew will dive to catch lobsters and conch for photo opportunities, creating unforgettable memories. At lunchtime, the captain will prepare fresh lobster right on the boat. You’ll also have the chance to snorkel with onboard equipment and marvel at the coral reefs.
Day 5: Cardenas City Exploration (Mandatory)
Today, we’ll visit Cardenas, once the economic center of Cuba, and tour the first museum in Cuba, capturing the city’s historical glory. You’ll also visit a renowned natural rum distillery to sample a variety of rum flavors. Cardenas preserves Cuba’s authentic lifestyle, offering you a unique cultural experience. The city has many narrow streets and squares, like Columbus Square, where a bronze statue of Columbus, gifted by Queen Isabella II of Spain, was unveiled in 1862.
Day 6: Matanzas City and Crystal Cave Adventure (Mandatory)
Today, we’ll visit Matanzas, a city on Cuba’s northern coast, nestled around a tranquil bay. Known for its rich cultural heritage, it’s often called the "Athens of Cuba." Matanzas is the birthplace of traditional Cuban dances, the Danzón and Rumba. We’ll pass by famous landmarks such as the Sauto Theater and climb to a hilltop viewpoint overlooking the beautiful bay. You’ll also have the chance to explore the ancient Crystal Cave, marveling at the sparkling natural crystals and fossilized shells.
Day 7: Leisure Time at the Hotel
Enjoy a relaxing day soaking up the Caribbean island vibes. Take full advantage of the hotel’s complimentary facilities and a variety of cocktails, including the large swimming pool, fitness center, and daily hotel activities.
Day 8: Varadero - Toronto
Board a luxury coach to the airport and take your flight back home to the warmth of family.
