Departure – Halifax Half-Day City Tour – Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse

• Fly from your home city to Halifax, Nova Scotia (Airport code: YHZ). To participate in the optional half-day tour, it is recommended to arrive before 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, meet at the Visitor Information Center at the airport exit, where a tour representative will greet you and transfer you to downtown Halifax.

  After check-in, you can either enjoy free time (no transportation or guide service provided) or join an optional Halifax Historical Half-Day City Tour to experience the city's rich heritage and coastal charm.

  Optional Tour (Adult: $60 / Child: $40) – Includes:

• Halifax-Dartmouth Ferry & Waterfront Boardwalk: Take the scenic ferry ride from Dartmouth to Halifax Harbour, with views of the Halifax Harbour Bridge and Royal Canadian Navy base. Upon arrival, stroll along the historic Halifax waterfront boardwalk and enjoy skyline views and cultural ambiance.

• Citadel National Historic Site (Fort George): Visit Halifax’s star-shaped citadel, a symbol of British and French colonial history in North America. Known as the “fortress that was never conquered,” it played an active role even during World War II.

• Visit Shediac’s famous Lobster Monument.

• Cross the Confederation Bridge, the world’s longest over frozen water.

Ingonish Beach – Baddeck – Bell Museum – Return to Halifax

• Visit Ingonish Beach and view the Keltic Lodge.

• Stop in Baddeck, home of Alexander Graham Bell.

• Free time or visit Bell Museum (admission not included).

• Return to Halifax. Book return flights after 6:00 PM from YHZ.

Exclusive Whale Watching at One of the World’s Top 10 Whale Watching Sites – Bay of Fundy

After breakfast, depart for Digby, Nova Scotia, passing by the Acadian Cultural Centre along the way. Digby is one of the world’s largest scallop fishing areas and a paradise for fishermen. It’s also among the top 10 whale-watching spots globally. Every summer, humpback whales, the third largest mammals on Earth, migrate here from the Caribbean to feed and raise their young. These matriarchal whales often travel in large pods, offering a truly awe-inspiring sight. Witnessing their group hunting behavior is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a perfect opportunity to connect with nature. Return to Halifax in the evening for overnight stay.

Note: In case of weather disruptions or other unforeseen circumstances affecting whale-watching, the tour will be adjusted to an Acadian Cultural Experience, including visits to the Acadian town, Acadian Historical Village, and Fundy Bay Provincial Park, ensuring a balanced blend of nature and culture.

Peggy’s Cove – UNESCO Heritage Town Lunenburg – French-Style Town Mahone Bay – Departure

After breakfast, head to Peggy’s Cove, famous for its dramatic Atlantic coastline and iconic lighthouse. Known as the “Land’s End of the Atlantic,” Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse is also the only one in Canada that functions as a post office, making it one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Afterward, continue to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site established in 1753. Stroll through King, Queen, and Prince Streets to experience the preserved British colonial architecture infused with local character. Lunenburg is also home to the Bluenose II, the famous schooner featured on the Canadian 10-cent coin. Then, travel to Mahone Bay, a town famous for its three distinct churches representing different Christian denominations that have peacefully coexisted for centuries. With its romantic French-style charm, Mahone Bay offers a lovely contrast to Lunenburg. After the tour, return to Halifax. You are advised to book flights departing after 6:00 PM from Halifax International Airport (YHZ).
